  • Graduation Ceremonies Moving Indoors

Due to continued weather concerns, all District 214 graduation ceremonies will move indoors on Wednesday, May 21.

We understand the disappointment this may cause. However, our students' and families' safety and comfort must come first. Many students are also scheduled to participate in state series competitions later this week, limiting our ability to reschedule.

Each graduate will receive four tickets for the indoor ceremony. Additional limited-capacity viewing spaces will be available inside the building. Schools will share additional logistical details directly with families.  All ceremonies will be livestreamed.

We are grateful to our staff who continue working hard to ensure a meaningful and memorable celebration for our graduates.

Looking ahead, District 214 will review off-site venue options for future graduating classes to reduce the impact of weather-related disruptions.

We sincerely apologize for the change in plans, and thank you for your understanding as we honor the Class of 2025.
